1st year Master student
University Program in Materials Science & Engineering
Wenbin joined the Mitzi lab in September 2024. Before coming to Duke, he obtained his bachelor's degrees in Opto-electronic Information Science and Engineering from Guangdong University of Technology, China. Where he worked on developing effective and broadband inorganic phosphor for Near-Infrared phosphor-converted light-emitting diodes (NIR pc-LED), under the supervision of Dr. Jiyou Zhong. His current work at the Mitzi Lab focuses on designing novel 2D hybrid perovskite materials to modulate structural dimensionality and symmetry.
