Sasa Wang

Post-doctoral researcher

Thomas Lord Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science

Sasa Joined Mitzi lab in the Spring of 2023 as a postdoctoral fellowship. She received her Ph.D. in Materials Physics and Chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2020. Prior to joining Duke, she spent two years as a post-doc in Prof. Edward Sargent group at the University of Toronto. Her previous research focused on the ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and photoelectric properties of hybrid perovskites. Her current research involves magnetic and spin-splitting of halide perovskite, and solution-processed chalcogenide thin films for PV application.
