Manoj K. Jana obtained a Ph.D. in materials chemistry from Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research, India. His Ph.D. thesis pertains to 2D metal chalcogenides and thermoelectric Zintl tellurides. He is currently focused on understanding the crystal structures of complex 2D inorganic-organic halide perovskites, and the effect of molecular doping on their optical and electronic properties.
